Job Details – Seattle Emergency Room RN Travel Contract- Location: Seattle, WA 98107 – Ballard neighborhood, close to Puget Sound
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1810-$1940
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing Contract

- Shift: Night, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00)

- Staffing Ratio: 1:4
- Beds: 18
- Visits/Day: 65
- Charting System: EPIC
- Medication System: Pyxis
- Floating: Required to Edmonds and other Swedish campuses
- Weekend Coverage: On call every other weekend
- Minimum 3 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience (2 years with strong ER nursing skills considered)
- Active Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Compact State
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS (all current)
- Proficient in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, IV therapy, phlebotomy, and ventilator management
- Experience in Level II Trauma Center triage and patient management (preferred)
- Charge nurse experience and EPIC charting preferred
- Comfortable caring for diverse patient populations: adults, pediatrics, geriatrics, behavioral health
- Professional scrubs (any color)
- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in a busy ER setting, including general ED, psychiatric, chemical dependency, and pediatric cases
- Perform and assist with procedures: breathing treatments, chest tube setup/care, CPAP/BiPAP, rapid sequence intubation, trach care, ventilator management, blood product administration, cardioversion/defibrillation, EKG acquisition, tele interpretation, drains, feeding tubes, PICC/central line care, vascular device access, syringe pumps, triple lumen catheter management
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams: respiratory, radiology, social services, pharmacy
- Float to other Swedish campuses as needed and participate in on-call rotations
- Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC and follow all hospital protocols
- Deliver compassionate care and support to patients and families in high-stress emergency situations
