Position Summary:
The Registered Nurse - RNassesses, plans,implements, and evaluates care foragivenpopulation based uponage specific and cultural needs. This is done in a collaborative multidisciplinary approach embracing quality and safety. Assures quality of care by measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards; making or recommending necessary adjustments; following hospital philosophies and standards of care set by Arizona State Board of Nursing,, and other governing agency regulations. Coordinatesthe deliveryof patientcare for the Rehab Unit, facilitatesproblemsolving with staff membersand communicatesnecessaryissues tonursing administration and the Program Manager. ***Night Shift Position***
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree Nursing required, Bachelor's or Master's Degree preferred.
- 1 to 2 years of experience preferred.
- Must have an active AZ or Compact LPN or LVN License.
- AHA BLS required. If you have other than AHA, you will have 30 days from your date of hire to obtain your AHA BLS.
- EHAC/ACS Training as assigned with in 90 days of hire-EHAC/ACS (healthstream) and annually
- NIH Stroke Scale assigned and completed within 30 days of hire.
