This role will interface with various production & manufacturing leads, Integrated Product teams, & key program stakeholders. Bottom line - Improve program planning and execution while ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and company policy and procedures through the scheduling function.

This Junior level Program Scheduler position will be an integral part of the larger enterprise-wide Leidos Corporate Earned Value Management (EVM) Center of Excellence (COE).  The Leidos Corporate EVM COE is a team-leading and executing the core responsibilities of scheduling, planning, EVMS, the associated infrastructure and tools, implementations, training, and surveillance for Leidos. 

Key Responsibilities. List daily duties and/or specific job responsibilities.

  • Responsible for learning and applying scheduling theory/practice to develop the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and related artifacts in compliance with applicable standards and policies and industry best practices (e.g., PASEG, NDIA) in alignment with the mission of the IFPC Inc2 portfolio and the enterprise wide EVM COE.
  • Requires a professional curiosity in gaining knowledge and understanding of programmatic scheduling theory, practices, and tools.
  • Develop scheduling artifacts to meet contractual/project requirements.
  • Attend multiple training sessions in addition to daily duties.
  • Proven ability to gather information from multiple stakeholders and concisely consolidate and relay information to program leadership (verbal and visual).
  • Actively participate with various functional personnel and project stakeholders to provide feedback on schedule status, performance, and actions.
  • Predisposition towards developing into an Intermediate Level through a Senior level Program Scheduler career.
  • Support the Senior Program Scheduler on monthly business rhythm processes.
  • Receive, interpret, and execute direction from Senior Program Scheduler and Program Management team on weekly tasking and priorities. 
  • Maintain and develop program artifacts in a complete and organized manner as directed.
  • Support/assist in the compiling, analysis, and presenting of customer-focused materials/data.

Basic Qualifications,What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, manufacturing, engineering or related discipline and (2-4) years’ experience in project planning & scheduling or related analytical work.
  • Candidates must be self-motivated, with a competitive balance to succeed.
  • An organized, analytical thinker who is willing to learn rapidly.
  • Above average written and oral communication skills
  • Dependability, Integrity, and punctuality are key soft skills for success in this role.
  • Candidates must be willing to operate onsite @ our Mid-City location
  • Candidates must be willing to operate outside of core office hours when necessary.
  • U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications.

  • Microsoft Project experience
  • General understanding of project management principles
  • General understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures
  • Structured Solutions Inc. (SSI) tools for Microsoft Project
  • Microsoft Office experience

Pay Range:

Pay Range $50,700.00 - $91,650.00
