OB Hospitalist Opening in Central New Mexico

This position will be part of a team of clinicians at the assigned
site working together with the support of the Site Director of Ob Hospitalists.

Essential Skills/Credentials/Experience/Education

• Board Certified or Active Candidate Ob/Gyn Physician
• Licensed to practice medicine in the state of assigned site
• Highly relational, able to build strong rapport and positive working relationship with all stakeholders (Hospital leadership, hospitalist teams, nurses, staff physicians, and MMG corporate staff)
• Team oriented, service minded, goal focused individual who believes in MMG mission
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Duties :

• Deliver obstetrical and gynecological care to patients including but not limited to providing contraceptive services (at hospitals that provide contraceptive services)
• Deliver direct patient care to high-risk patients including situations where Maternal-Fetal-Medicine support may only be available by telephone
• Participate in the development of clinical guidelines and protocols
• Participate in peer reviews or investigation of clinical incidents as requested
• Collaborate with team to ensure hospitalist participation in overall quality initiatives
