The Crisis Clinician provides urgent psychiatric assessment, triage, and short-term crisis intervention services within the community. They act as a central resource for psychiatric services and collaborate with other mental health practitioners to coordinate patient care. This role requires a licensed independent mental health practitioner with experience in ambulatory or crisis emergency department settings.
Based in Middletown, Conn., Middlesex Health, a member of the Mayo Clinic Care Network, includes Middlesex Hospital, a not-for-profit magnet hospital with 275 beds, and two Middlesex Health Cancer Center locations. It also features three emergency departments and two urgent care centers, along with many other programs and services.
