Travel Cath Lab Tech Job Details

• Location: Newton, NJ 07860 (New Jersey healthcare jobs)
• Facility: Hospital Cardiac Catheterization Lab
• Assignment Type: Travel Cath Lab Technologist
• Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 10/20/2025 – End: 1/17/2026)
• Schedule: 4 days/week, 9.5-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 hours/week
• On-Call: STEMI On-Call position
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2600-$2790

Cath Lab Technologist Qualifications

• At least 1 year of recent Cath Lab experience (scrub and monitor required)
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist or CVT/RCIS certification preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump) experience required

Cath Lab Tech Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist with cardiac catheterizations, PCI (STEMI), peripheral vascular, pacemaker, and interventional radiology procedures
• Monitor, document, and calculate hemodynamic data during procedures
• Provide clinical support to physicians before, during, and after procedures
• Assess and manage vascular access sites, promptly notifying physicians of any concerns
• Follow on-call protocols for the Cardiac Cath Lab
• Prepare patients for procedures and deliver optimal patient care throughout their stay
