This locum tenens position is for a board-certified Interventional Radiologist to provide general IR day coverage and call coverage in a hospital trauma setting in Vermont. The role involves performing approximately 25 procedures per week including venous access, biopsies, drainages, embolization, and thrombectomy, with no outpatient clinic duties. The position runs from September to December 2025 with possible extension and requires an active Vermont medical license and IR fellowship training.
Specialty-Radiology: InterventionalCoverage needs: -Start: 9/15/25-End: 12/31/25-Chance to extendShifts: -Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm-If covering Procedures: OR M-F coverage. No call-If covering call M-TH: call overnight 5 pm to 8 am-Weekend call: 8 am Saturday to 8 am MondaySetting: -Hospital setting-Trauma level ICases: -Provider Scope of Practice: General IR day coverage, call coverage, and CTA/MRA vascular interpretation.-Procedures Provider Will Be REQUIRED To Perform: Venous access, biopsies, drainages, organ access, embolization, thrombectomy/thrombolysis, hepato-bilary/portal intervention.-Anticipated Procedures/Surgeries per Week: 25 per week-Patient Load 5-7 procedures per day.
