Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive hospitalist care to admitted patients
- Manage acute and chronic medical conditions in an inpatient setting
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Document patient care and progress in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements
- Respond to emergencies and provide advanced life support as needed
Additional Information
- Must have an active Virginia medical license, DEA, and board certification in Hospital Medicine
- Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Preeclampsia Certificate
