Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect data on client progress and behaviors during therapy sessions
- Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
- Teach and reinforce appropriate social, communication, and daily living skills
- Use positive reinforcement strategies to promote desired behaviors
- Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to ensure treatment goals are being met
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation of client progress and session notes
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; RBT certified
- Previous experience working with individuals with ASD or related developmental disabilities is a plus
- Must have a valid driver's license and/ reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check and obtain necessary clearances
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and implement behavior analytic techniques and strategies
