Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN with oncology experience for a night shift position in Alaska, requiring an active AK RN license.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Medical Overflow unit with a focus on med/surg and oncology patients
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Assignment duration is 8 weeks
- Assignment is in a medical overflow unit, serving both med/surg and oncology populations
- All certifications must be valid with no expiration within the first 30 days of the assignment
- Holiday and weekend coverage may be required as per unit needs
Requirements
- Active AK RN license required
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience in med/surg or oncology nursing
- AHA or ARC certifications as required for role
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
- Oncology nursing certification (ONC) required for oncology RNs
