- Unit: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – 30 beds, 3rd floor
- Start Date: January 5, 2026
- End Date: April 6, 2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7p-7a)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per schedule
- Scrub Color: Royal Blue
- EMR System: Meditech
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1360 - $1460 per week
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience with ventilator and cardiovascular drip management
- Preferred experience with thoracentesis, arterial line, and central line placement
- Neuro ICU experience is a plus
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability and willingness to float to Intermediate Medical Unit (IMU) as needed
- Provide high-quality, compassionate critical care to patients in a 30-bed ICU
- Monitor and manage patients on ventilators and cardiovascular drips
- Perform and assist with procedures including thoracentesis, arterial line, and central line placement
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Float to IMU as required to support clinical operations
