ICU Nursing Job Details

• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Contract
• Location: Conroe, Texas 77304
• Unit: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – 30 beds, 3rd floor
• Start Date: January 5, 2026
• End Date: April 6, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7p-7a)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per schedule
• Scrub Color: Royal Blue
• EMR System: Meditech
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1360 - $1460 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience with ventilator and cardiovascular drip management
• Preferred experience with thoracentesis, arterial line, and central line placement
• Neuro ICU experience is a plus
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability and willingness to float to Intermediate Medical Unit (IMU) as needed

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate critical care to patients in a 30-bed ICU
• Monitor and manage patients on ventilators and cardiovascular drips
• Perform and assist with procedures including thoracentesis, arterial line, and central line placement
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Float to IMU as required to support clinical operations
