- Provide anesthesia care in a Level 2 trauma unit, conducting procedures across various specialties, including OB, thoracic, and vascular surgeries.
- Perform and manage spinals and epidurals, with an emphasis on proficiency in these areas.
- Participate in a full range of cases, excluding transplants, with a focus on safe and effective anesthetic care.
- Option to cover nightly or weekend call shifts.
- AHA Certifications required
- VA license highly preferred at time of submittal
- Minimum of 1-year experience in a Level 2 trauma environment
- Experience in obstetrics and thoracic anesthesia required; pediatric experience preferred
- 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- 36-40 hours per week, with a flexible schedule
- Potential for weekend and holiday shifts, compensated accordingly
- Expertise in spinals and epidural placement and management
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with interdisciplinary teams
- Ability to adapt to a varied and dynamic caseload, maintaining composure in high-pressure situations
